Location: Hamilton, Ontario, Canada
Coding Interests: Drivers up to apps
Brief Bio: Second year Software Engineering and Management student
at McMaster University. By night, I learn and "play" (ie: tweak, break,
unbreak....) with my Linux system. I've been using Linux for about 2 years
now, after having enough with MS. Mostly self taught from great web sites
and great people in newsgroups.
Why Contribute?: I'm hooked--why just buy a PLW when you can help
develop it? I have been engrossed with learning about the community since
the first article I read about Linux in early 1999. I find it amazing that
with today's society of "me first, me only, screw everyone else" that there
is such an open and cooperative community producing high quality tools that
are free (as in beer and freedom). I just can't help but want to be a part
of it.
