The MyLinux^TM Pocket Linux Workstation is designed with only the finest hardware components. It contains an extremely aggressive feature set. We keep hardware costs contained by using the cooperative buying power of Linux users throughout the world, combined with low profit margins. Our mission is not to get rich, but to provide the very highest quality Linux PLW possible while not going completely broke!

The PLW is extensible. It accommodates the hardware needs of each individual owner. It communicates with a myriad of external devices via built-in ports. Even the storage subsystem of the PLW, protected by an "oops" switch, is completely open to the user.

The Pocket Linux Workstation software is 100% Open Source. The operating system can be completely replaced by the PLW owner. There is no need to purchase an expensive FLASH module or to send the unit to a central facility to upgrade the system software. All of the applications and operating system software is freely available, complete with source code, to anyone with an Internet connection.

In addition, each MyLinux^TM owner can enhance his/her PLW by adding, modifying, or deleting freely available applications. Each Pocket Linux Workstation becomes the owner's personal Linux computing platform. We developed the PLW using the contributions of Open Source software created Linux developers worldwide.
