Location: San Mateo, CA, US
Coding Interests: I'm interested in networking protocols (not
hardware drivers), and all sorts of distributed applications. OO
languages primarily if I have a choice.
Brief Bio: I'm a software engineer doing mostly Java these days.
I have a law degree but I never used it, except to keep myself from
getting in trouble... I've been working in the Internet biz for
(depending on how you count) 6+ years.
Why Contribute?: I am really interested in mobile, ubiquitous
computing and open source projects. There is lots of software out
there, but no good cheap hardware to develop on (Palm making life
difficult because of the limited and different" platform which is Palm).
I've spent time working on, looking at, or playing with the following
acronyms: JINI, WAP, SIP, Bluetooth, BXXP, and all the others.. I'm a
little bit of a protocol junkie...
I'm about to have my first kid, so I'm probably not going to be very
active, but I'm definitely interested in watching what's going on....
